We hadn't visited our friends for quite some time.  It was a wonderful night....as usual :)

 

 

 

Thanksgiving 2013

Our Thanksgiving was a bit quiet.  Gabbie was unable to run in this year's Turkey Trot but we still went to support some friends in their race.  When we got home, we started our dinner.  We had a fun cooking and watching An Old Fashioned Thanksgiving on DVD. 

After the movie, Tuna and I went outside to find some sort of decoration to put on the table.  (I wanted to buy some fresh flowers at the store, but I couldn't see spending $30+ on an arrangement).  This is what the end product looked like :p

We sang some songs and played a thankfulness game.  We FINALLY ate about 5:00.  I had such a blessed day!  This was, by far, THE BEST THANKSGIVING!!!!!

I do need to note that Tuna made the jello.  She wanted everyone
to know that ;) lol  Gab made the peanut butter pie :)  Everything was
DELISH!!!

The first time Gab tried to open the can, it took 7 minutes (the can was dented).  The second time, the can was free of dents and it took her less than 2 minutes! 



High School Festival

Two weeks ago, we went to Greenville for High School Festival.  Unfortunately, I didn't get many pictures because I was under the weather for a few days. :/

4:30am - off we go!!!!!



I have no words to describe......

Both Tuna and I were sick.  Gab decided that it she would sleep so she would catch our cold.

The girls had a great time at BJU!  Tuna got to room with her counselor from TWNE and Gab got to see her S.C. friends.  It was a great learning experience and the girls can't wait to go back next year!!!

The Piano Guys

We had such a fantastic night!!!!  We went to the Bushnell in Hartford to see The Piano Guys.  The  music was great & the guys were super funny!!! 

I have to say that the best part of the evening - hands down - was getting to meet The Piano Guys in person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They were soooo awesome and incredibly down-to-earth!!!! I'll have the girls finish the post tomorrow!  I'm off to bed!! :D

We had lots of fun having sword fights, playing tug of war etc.  We love going to the O's!!!
